Sited in a dynamic coastal environment where dangers—storm surges, sea level rise, earthquakes, and flooding—meet beauty—sweeping views, proximity to water, the effervescence of life—this house operates as a bridge from past to future and lot to shoreline, and asks us to consider coexistence with a changing world.
